When Two Worldviews Collide
Materialists/Atheists believe all Christians, Muslims and other monotheists worship something -- or someone -- that isn't "there". Their line of reasoning is if you cannot "prove" someone exists, they can be ignored. This is the line of reasoning used to justify mass genocide of the unborn - pretend they aren't people, and then you can ignore them. Certainly, with God that approach won't work -- if not now, it will become clearer in the afterlife.
This series of posts is to counteract many cultural and even Sunday school caricatures of God that makes it very difficult to take Him seriously and to understand and interact with Him as He intended. We hope to clarify some concepts for some who are skeptical or confused by the noise of the clash of the secular and biblical worldviews.
False Dichotomy Between Science and God
First, let us dispense with some of the invalid prevailing viewpoints about God, science and logic. A great deal of misinformation and confusion exists about what modern science teaches and the concept of a Creator of the Universe as described in the Bible.

What do Atheists say?
- That "Scientific Evidence" is against the existence of God

Are the Atheists right?

The Materialist Explanation for "Everything"
Nothing + Accident = Everything
This is almost like magic -- except when the rabbit gets pulled out of the hat, there is no magician and no hat...
- Theistic scientists have always assumed the order and design found in Nature is the result of a rational Creator
- Christians invented scientific principles to discover "Creation"
- Scripture has always taught the universe had a beginning
- Scripture explains where the "stuff" of the universe came from

Recall the Kalam Cosmological Argument
1 - Whatever begins to exist has a cause (the laws of nature prove that something cannot come from nothing)2 - The universe began to exist (big bang cosmology "science" proves this is true)3 - The universe has a Cause
Psalm 19:1-11 "The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky proclaims the work of His hands. Day after day they pour out speech; night after night they communicate knowledge. There is no speech; there are no words; their voice is not heard. Their message has gone out to all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world." "The instruction of the Lord is perfect, renewing one’s life; the testimony of the Lord is trustworthy, making the inexperienced wise. The precepts of the Lord are right, making the heart glad; the command of the Lord is radiant, making the eyes light up. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever; the ordinances of the Lord are reliable and altogether righteous. They are more desirable than gold—than an abundance of pure gold; and sweeter than honey, which comes from the honeycomb. In addition, Your servant is warned by them; there is great reward in keeping them." HCSB
This very closely matches what we see and understand when scientific methods of observation are properly employed. There is no contradiction here between the inspired Word of God and the observable universe.

- Incorporeal /non material Spirit
- Outside of space Hyper-dimensional
- Exceedingly Intelligent Omniscient
- Exceedingly powerful Omnipotent
- Loving A personal Being
